CharterNation,

We know that there’s a problem of awareness about charter public schools in our state. A Public Policy Institute of California poll released in April revealed that 30 percent of public school parents in California have heard nothing about charter schools.

That presents us an important opportunity this summer. Let’s all #DoOurPart and educate our family and friends about the charter public schools that are improving academic outcomes for students most in need and strengthening our state’s education system!

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be asking you to share content on social media that helps answers important fundamental questions about charter schools—and pushes back on the vast amount of misinformation out there.

This week let’s start with this basic fact: charter schools are public, free, and open to all.  You can read more about that here.

If we’re going to effectively tackle this awareness problem, we need your help! So be sure to share this graphic with your family and friends today and let them know that charter schools are PUBLIC schools!
