Each year Family Partnership Charter School (FPCS) hosts an exhibition for its learning centers that invites students to investigate topics or issues in science and
engineering. Through the Annual Science Fair, FPCS strives to provide students ad-ditional opportunities to engage in in-depth research and reflective learning
experiences which empower them to better understand and, ultimately, apply core scientific concepts. As part of the project and presentation process, students are exposed to extended studies in the areas of the scientific method, laboratory techniques, and scientific research and writing.
The 4th Annual FPCS Science Fair will take place Friday, February 07, 2020, at the Abel Maldonado Community Youth Center in Santa Maria. The event will begin at 10AM with a special demonstration and will be immediately followed by the
exhibition of student projects. The day will conclude with a student recognition and awards ceremony from 12:15PM-1PM. FPCS is looking forward to another year of creative project ideas and informative displays from our young scientists and we hope you can join us for the special day.
